William Douglas “Doug” Wooten, 58 of Radcliff, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Norton Audubon Hospital with his family by his side.
William was born and raised in Louisville. He loved horse racing and making frequent trips to Churchill Downs. He was a loving husband, father, and uncle.
William is preceded in death by his parents John Wooten and Francis Cox.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 30 years Deborah “Debbie” Wooten; his daughter Tiffany Wooten and her husband Jeremy Pennick; his son Jonathan Wooten; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews that he loved dearly.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday December 7, 2021, at Valley Station Church of God with Bro. Tim Bass officiating. A private burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
