William Arthur “Cowboy” Richards, 88 of Shepherdsville, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Norton Audubon Hospital, after a battle with an illness.
Cowboy was a legendary community figure. If spent any time in or around Shepherdsville, then you knew of Cowboy and his moped (he called it his Harley). He was preceded in death by his parents, Thurman and Anna Elizabeth Richards; his siblings, Evelyn Jacobs, Martha Perkins, Eddie Booth, Kenny Ray Richards, Jerry Richards, and Betty Lee Richards.
Cowboy is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Richards; his daughters, Chrystal Lymes and Kandy Hall; his grandchildren, Jonathan Hall, Dylan Crowder, Autumn Crowder, Emily Lymes and Faith Lymes; his great-grandchildren, Peyton, Wyatt, and Gage Hall.
