William Elwood Dawson

William Elwood Dawson 89 of Shepherdsville passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday July 27, 2013.
He was a retired employee of Naval Ordnance, a Navy veteran and a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents Horace and Grace Dawson, his siblings Jim, Ray, Bernie, Sam, Bennie, Donnie and Thelma Jean.
He is survived by his wife Doris Howlett Dawson, his children Billy Dawson, Gary (Lynne) Dawson and Sharon (Mike) Saylor all of Shepherdsville, his siblings Bobby Dawson of Louisville, Eddie Dawson, Betty Ann Dorsey and Pat Jackson all of Shepherdsville.
Funeral mass will be on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hebron Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maraman Billings Funeral Home on Monday from 2-8 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Online condolences may be made at maramanbillings.com
