William Gilbert Bennington, II 61 passed away in Owensboro, Kentucky on Friday September 23, 2022 after an illness.
He was a native of Ft. Eustis, Virginia. He was baptized Episcopalian, loved antique cars, dancing and watching the old Western movies.
He was preceded in death by his father and step-mother William G. and Pearl Bennington, his siblings Kenneth Wayne Shelley, Dana Patrick Shelley, Bill Robinson and Donna Dever.
He is survived by his mother Roberta Shelley of Marana, AZ, his siblings Wilma Gail Pinedo (Scotty) Tucson, AZ, Robert Thomas Bennington of Shepherdsville, Jay Frederick Shelley, III of Apache Junction, AZ, Sharon Kippes of Ekron, KY, Roger Robinson (Marie) of Taylorsville, Kathy Masterson (Tom) of Falls of the Rough, a sister in law Tammy Robinson of Jeffersonville, IN, his aunts and uncles Alfredia Morris (Sam) and Rusty Watkins all of Leitchfield, Wanda Losch (Steve) Judy Bennington, and Blaine Bennington (Angie) all of Shepherdsville.
The family would like to thank the associates of the Kentucky Guardianship service and the employees of the Rehab Facility for their special care.
Funeral service will be Thursday 11 a.m. at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. till time of the service at the funeral home.
