Viva Jo Lloyd

February 4, 1943 — February 17, 2023

Viva Jo Lloyd, 80 of Shepherdsville passed away Friday, February 17, 2023 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital.
She was a Catholic by faith and a member of St. Rita Catholic Church. Vi retired from Ford Motor Company. She enjoyed being outdoors and tending her flower garden. She was a great cook, she took pride in preparing large family meals that brought everyone together. Vi was generous to a fault, she donated to several organizations including the FOP, indigenous tribes, and her favorite charity the Humane Society. Animals were especially dear to her, Vi loved and spoiled her dogs Sally, Sundae, and Sophie. Vi was a wonderful Mom and an amazing Granny. She taught us to be selfless, supportive, and kind to others. She will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clifford Smith and Kathy Nolty; along with her brothers David Smith and Dale Smith.
Vi is survived by her sons Bobby Smith and his wife Dana of Shepherdsville, and Billy Smith and his wife Melissa of Brooks; her siblings Sonny, Dale, Jimmy, David, Cheryl, and Sue; grandchildren Justin, Morgan, Haley, Samantha, Brooke, and Mac; her great-grandchildren Katelynn, Allison, Brooklyn, T.J., Lakyn, Brantley, and Mavric; along with additional family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 2-5p.m. at Maraman Billings Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to share memories and stories in her honor.
