Travis Elliot Bierod, 41 of Louisville was tragically taken away Saturday, October 25, 2024, in an act of senseless violence.
Travis aka Elliot, aka T-Rod was a Christian by faith and although his path may not have always been straight, he knew that wrong paths can still lead to the right place. He understood that there are bad chapters in every great story, and that failed dreams can still create successful people. He had lost himself but kept his faith, he fought battle after battle and never gave up because he knew that he was worth saving, that people change, and that the promise of a new day was worth fighting for. Travis cherished his family, friends and support group, he knew some battles were too large to face alone. He felt invincible with his army backing him. He took time to appreciate the small things that most of us take for granted. He made the necessary changes in his life to be the best man that he could be. Travis was an inspiration for some, a rock for others, and loved by all. His light was dimmed too soon.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Norman Bierod.
Travis is survived by his children Tyler, Renea, Trevor, Keith, Ally and Alexis; mother Rissa Murray (Marcus Citta), father Arnold K. Bierod, siblings Bryan Bierod (Jennifer Keith), Christina Logsdon (Daniel), Jessica Waters, and Cheyenne Bierod, grandmother Zella Bierod; along with additional family and many loyal friends.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with Pastor Buddy Ridner officiating.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 8, 2024, noon until time of service.
