He is survived by his children; son Anthony Eckert of Shepherdsville, KY; son Alex Eckert of Brooks, Ky; son Adam Erckert of Brooks, Ky; his mother Linda Vickers of Louisville; his siblings sister Tonya (Jude) Hurst of Brooks Ky, and brother Jason Erkert of Louisville, Ky. Family has chosen cremation with a memorial to follow at a later date.
