Thomas Eugene Lone

Thomas Eugene Lone, 76 of Shepherdsville passed away at UofL Health Mary & Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, January 13, 2022.
He was a native of New Albany, IN; he spent time in Florida and returned North to Shepherdsville, KY. Thomas was a devout member of Church of God of Prophecy of Shepherdsville. He served as a Pastor for the Church of God Prophecy spreading the word of God and worship among many states for more than 40 years. He had his own business as a skilled painter. Thomas was a bargain hunter, he loved finding treasure at yard sales and consignment shops. He will be remembered for his faith and love of family.
Thomas was preceded in death by his first wife Della Lone; his parents Kenneth and Bessie Lone; and his children Mark Lone and Lori Lone.
Thomas is survived by his wife Margaret Marcella Lone; children Lisa Lone (Ty Dever) of Brooks, Krista Lone of Jeffersonville, IN, Thomas Lone Jr. (Trina) of Frankfort, and Tonya Lone Brown of Hickory, NC; his sister Zella Pierce of Council Bluffs, IA; along with 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Visitations will be Tuesday 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday 9:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
