Teresa Kay Jessie, 67 of Shepherdsville passed away at her home Friday, September 16, 2022, with her family by her side.
Teresa was a Baptist by faith, and a member of God’s Grace Independent General Baptist Church. She was devout in her faith, she loved listening to southern gospel and spreading God’s word. Teresa enjoyed watching crime shows, playing computer games, social media, and old country music. She was selfless, placing the needs of her family above herself. Teresa’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy.
She was preceded in death by her son Curtis Jessie Jr., granddaughter Caitlin Grooms; along with her parents Cleon Jaggers and Betty Neidlow.
Teresa is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Curtis Jessie Sr.; daughters Rhonda (Phillip) Setaccioli of Louisville and Lori (Dennis) Pile of Shepherdsville; siblings Marquita (David) Orr of Shelbyville, Pamela Rummage of Mt. Washington, Elaine (Timothy) Sprinkles of Lebanon Junction, Benita Parker of Louisville, Jessie (Crystal) Bray Jr. of Shepherdsville, Lisa (John) McDonough of Cub Run, Carmella Terrance of Brownsville, and Neal (Tracy) Ray of Louisville; grandchildren Celeste (Kyle) Saucier and Eddie (Julia) Saucier; great-grandchildren Kayden Young, Lyla Buckner, and Baby Buckner- on the way; along with additional family members and many friends that were more family.
Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home officiated by Bro. Kenny Hart, with burial to follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Visitations will be Saturday 10 a.m. until time of the service.
