Teresa Lynn Jeffries, 55 of Shepherdsville passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at UofL Health Hospital.
She was a homemaker that devoted her life to her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Teresa took on the responsibility of raising 3 of her grandchildren and without hesitation, she welcomed them into a loving home with open arms. She was kind to animals and treated her four-legged friends as members of the family. Teresa enjoyed reading books and watching documentaries based on true crime. She liked to paint and work on craft projects, that she proudly presented to her loved ones. She was a natural leader, she persevered in unfavorable conditions, she had a strong sense of compassion and responsibility for her family. Her support and guidance will be missed beyond measure, she was truly an unforgettable soul that touched the lives of so many.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Marylou Elizabeth Douglas.
Teresa is survived by her children Richard Bewley (Jessie) of Shepherdsville, and Cassandra Pierce (Kyle) of Hillview; her parents Jerry and Betty Jeffries; her siblings Tammy Logsdon (Jerry) of Shepherdsville, and Jerry Jeffries Jr. (Robin) of Flarherty, KY; her grandchildren Caleb, Jaxson, and Kamdyn Douglas, Kennedy Collins, Xavier and Korra Pierce, Charleigh and Trenton Bewley; her nieces and nephews Georgie and Brandy Jeffries, Jenny Bias, Sara and Frankie Logdson; along with her dear friend Kathy Clark.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home. Burial to follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Visitations will be Wednesday, December 13, 2023, 2-8 p.m. and 9 a.m. until time of service on Thursday.
