He was a member at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Fairdale.
He was preceded in death by his mother Frances Pyles.
Steve is survived by his loving wife Dorothy Pyles; his children Timothy Pyles of Carolina Beach, NC and Deena McCollum of Palm Bay, FL; his brother Richard Pyles of Shelbyville; along with 5 grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen by the family.
