Steven Royse Dykes, 65 of Shepherdsville passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at his home with family by his side.
Steve was a Baptist by faith. He retired from Ford Motor Company where he worked for over 30 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed singing karaoke and having a great time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Oren Royse Dykes; his brother Ricky Dale Dykes.
Steve is survived by his loving wife Lorretta Christine Dykes; his mother Reedafae Dykes of Louisville; his children Bradley Allen Dykes of Shelbyville, Ryan Dale Dykes (Leah) of New Albany and Ashley Trezeda Dykes of Louisville; his sister Linda Fay Robbins; his grandchildren Carter Bowden, Royse Dykes and Katherine Timmons.
Cremation was chosen by the family with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
