Stanley Ray Jackson

August 31, 1935 — June 4, 2024

Stanley Ray Jackson, 88 of Louisville passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at University of Louisville Hospital with his family by his side.
He was a Baptist by faith and a member of the House of Prayer. He was devout in his faith, he loved to spread the gospel. He proudly served in the United States Army. He was the owner/operator of a concrete business. Stanley was social and outgoing, he frequently visited with friends and family. He was nurturing, a devoted husband and family man. He was a man of outstanding character, a true role model.
He was preceded in death by his wife Helen Jackson, his parents Lula and Samuel Jackson, Sr., along with his siblings Dorothy Dishon and Richard Earl.
Stanley is survived by his children Nina Atherton of Louisville, Toni Greanias (David) of LaGrange, and his goddaughter Kim Browning of Shepherdsville; siblings Samuel Jackson, Jr. (Jerrie), Goldie Lanham, Annabelle Weird, and George Gibbers; 9 grandchildren, a host of great and great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, additional family members and countless friends.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with burial to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 6, 2024, 6-7 p.m., Friday, June 7, 2024, 12-8, and Saturday, June 8, 2024, 9 a.m. until time of service.
