Sherman “Tiny” Johnson, 75 of Shepherdsville, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at home, with his family by his side.
Tiny was born and raised in Minor Hill, Tennessee and moved to Louisville after graduating high school. He was a jack of all trades and worked for Ford Motor Company for over 37 years. A proud union worker, he was a member of UAW 862. He loved his motorcycles, bass fishing, NASCAR, football, and was an avid hunter. He gave his all in whatever he did. A great friend, he will be dearly missed by all his bike and fishing buddies along with all the people he enjoyed working with at Ford.
Sherman was preceded in death by his parents Ripley and Ruby Johnson, along with his brother Tillman Gower.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 53 years, Ruth Ann Johnson; his children Matthew Edward Johnson (Pamela Reichle) and Teresea Ann Dodson; his brother Hoyt Johnson (Betty Streetman); his grandchildren Nichole Marie Harvey and Mikel Sherman Dodson; his great grandchildren Quiana and Casey Jr., along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members that he loved dearly.
At this time, per his wishes, his family has chosen cremation. A celebration of life gathering will be held later this July.
