Shelby Warren Sears

Shelby Warren Sears 88 of Shepherdsville went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2013 as he passed away at his home.
He was born December 21, 1924, in Todd County Kentucky. He has lived in Shepherdsville since 1953. He retired from General Electric where he worked for 34 years.
He has been a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church since 1974. He was a veteran of World War II as he served in the Navy.
He is preceded in death by his parents Guy & Gola Sears along with his grandparents, 2 sisters and a brother.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Dovie Sears; his children Dennis (Dee Dee) Sears, Janice Sears Johnson and Terry Sears; his siblings Clayton Sears, Edward Sears, Wendell Sears, Maita Moore and Patie Edwards; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; along with many nieces and nephews and many friends.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday April 9th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Cochran officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday from 1-8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9-11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested all donations be made to Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
