Scott Thomas Cook, 29 of Louisville passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at UofL Health Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
He was a University of Kentucky fan, he enjoyed watching and playing basketball. He liked listening to music and playing lottery scratch offs. His greatest joy came from spending time with his children.
Scott is preceded in death by his daughter Kinslee Cook and his grandfather Jerry Cook.
Scott is survived by his mother Tammy Johnson, his stepmother Michelle Masters, his father Lonnie Byers and Paul Yocum, who was like a father to him; his son Ethan Thomas Norwood; the mother of his son, Jamie Norwood; siblings Jazlyn Byers, Ariel Byers, Madison Wright, Kayla Cook, Mark Johnson and David “DJ” Johnson; grandmother Katherine Cook; uncle Jerry “Bubba” Cook; his nieces Sophia Ross, Maria Saunders and Jayda Smith; along with several aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and numerous friends.
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Maraman Billings Funeral Home.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-8 p.m. and from 9 a.m. on Friday until the time of service.
