Sandra Mae Eldridge Rogers, 67, of Shepherdsville passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024, at her home with family by her side. She was a Christian faith, attending Church of Christ services. Sandra enjoyed gardening, and flowers, she could sew and was an amazing cook. Music was a big part of her life, she had eclectic taste, including everything from Bluegrass to Heavy Metal; she loved jam sessions with the music turned all the way up. Decorating for the holidays was her favorite thing to do, no matter the holiday, she went all out attempting to make the holidays magical for others. She was a homemaker that welcomed in everyone she met. She prioritized strong family bonds, she was a loving mother and grandmother, she
never turned anyone away and considered everyone to be family. Sandra was a red-headed fireball, things never came easily to her, but she was strong-willed and suborn, doing all things her way or not at all. Somehow, she kept everyone straight and she always came out on top with a big smile on her face. Sandra had a great sense of humor, she liked to joke & pick at others, eliciting a smile and laugh in return, all done with a loving heart. She was so many things to so many people, she was a big sister and special friend, a shoulder to cry on, a cheerleader and support squad for those late night calls to momma. Sandra was truly irreplaceable; her life and love will forever be cherished. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Sinda Eldridge, along with her siblings Eula Hickman, Vivian Eldridge, Wilbert Eldridge, and Johnny Eldridge.
Sandra is survived by her children Dennis Criss (Candace) of Mt. Vernon, Cindy Oaks (Sherman Combs) of Shepherdsville, Billy Feltner (Julie Knight) of Louisville, Christopher Feltner (LeaAnn) of Vine Grove, Dalton Feltner and Michael Feltner both of Shepherdsville; siblings Rod Eldridge of OH, Bill Eldridge (Lydia) of Somerset, AJ Eldridge (Pam) of NJ and Shelia Colwell (Leon) of Shepherdsville; grandchildren Kira Criss, Dustin Brown, George Osborne, Issac Whitaker (Jazmine), Kaylee Grace Oaks, George Ira Roberts , Tolbert Feltner, Kayleigh Lile, Hazel Lile, Ebony Eldridge, Johnathan Smith and Vanessa Collet; great-grandchildren Jasper Whitaker, Aubrey Smith and Brayden Collet; her special daughter Michelle Criss, along with additional family and friends.
