Samuel “Sam” Ray Hatfield, 64 of Shepherdsville passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2011.
He was a member of Bardstown Junction Baptist Church, a member of the Gideons and was involved in the choir and prison ministry at his church.
He was preceded in death by his parents Curtis Eugene and Agnes Burnadette Hatfield, his brother Curtis Elmore Hatfield and his niece Wendy Smith.
Sam is survived by his sister Mary Winfrey of Shepherdsville, his nephews Curtis (Karen) Hatfield of Jeffersonville, IN, Chris (Janelle) Hatfield of Carmel, IN and Brock Hatfield of Shepherdsville; his niece Theresa (Mark) Mann of Shepherdsville; his great-nephews Austin Mann, Benjamin Hatfield, Nolan Mann, Graham Hatfield, Braden Hatfield and his great-niece Haley Hatfield.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Bardstown Junction Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Mark Harrison with burial in Hebron Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, 1-8 p.m. on Friday and after 9 a.m. on Saturday at Maraman Billings Funeral Home.
