Samuel Lee Overbey Sr., 72 of Shepherdsville passed away after an illness at Saints Mary & Elizabeth Hospital Saturday, June 13, 2020.
Samuel was a Baptist by faith. He was a loving father and grandfather who cherished making memories with family.
Samuel was preceded in death by his wife Susan Overbey, his son Samuel Lee Overbey Jr. and brother Tommy Overbey.
Samuel is survived by his children Tammy Morales and Timothy Michael Overbey both of Bardstown; his grandchildren Brian Sexton, Brandon Sexton (Taija) and Byron Sexton; great grandchildren Benjamin Sexton, Mackenzie Sexton, Caiyden Sexton and Eli Sexton; along with many other family members and friends.
Visitations will be 1:30-2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
