Samuel Edgar Bain

Samuel Edgar Bain, 72 of Shepherdsville passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Norton Audubon Hospital.
He was a native of Cleveland, TN, a retired employee of the Kentucky Fair and Expo Center, Past Master of Bullitt Lodge #155 F&AM, Kentucky Colonel, avid golfer, fisherman, hunter and Past President of the Zoneton Optimist Club.
Sam was preceded in death by his parents Jacob E. and Dorothy Hood Bain and a daughter Molly Roby.
He is survived by his wife Nina Fackert Roby Bain of Shepherdsville, his children Rick Bain (Vicki) of Fisherville, Dr. Ken Bain (Missy) of Lawrenceburg and Kacey Roby, his siblings Harriett Derr (Leon) of Shepherdsville, Amanda Pursley (Tom) of Minnesota and Nick Bain (Lyda) of Corydon, IN, 5 grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, his first wife Mildred Bain of Lawrenceburg, numerous nieces, nephews and loving family.
Masonic Funeral Service will be at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Maraman Billings Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday from 1-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
