Rose Marie Harper, 56 of Shepherdsville passed away at University of Louisville Medical Center South on Wednesday, February 3, 2021.
Rose spent her days running the household and caring for her family. She was a beautiful spirit choosing to see the beauty in life, and the good in others. Rose touched the lives of many and will be remembered as an amazing woman. Rose was devout in her faith; she was a parishioner of St. Rita Catholic Church and served as a Minister of the Holy Eucharist. Her beliefs foretold that her journey is just beginning.
She was preceded in death by her parents Paul K. and Zora Harper; along with her siblings Paul Harper, Jr., Sissy McCLain and Jeanette Decker.
Rose is survived by her daughters Leeanna Penn (Michael) and Kristian Wilson (Rob Gividen) both of Shepherdsville; her sister in law Sandy Harper of Shepherdsville; her grandchildren Abigail Penn, Emily Penn, Jeanette Penn, Alije Hoxha and Bailey Gividen; along with numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday February 9, 2021 at St. Rita Catholic Church led by Father Joseph Rankin. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Visitations will be Monday 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday 9:00 – 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
