Ronald “Ronnie” Lee Ashbaugh 69, of Shepherdsville passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 with his family by his side.
He was a self-employed Dump Truck Driver (Ashbaugh Trucking). He was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed car racing and was the 1st Inductee of the Kentucky Demolition Derby Hall of Fame. He was truly a redneck at heart.
He was proceeded in death by his father Robert Lee Ashbaugh and sister Judy Immerso.
He is survived by his wife Ruthie Ashbaugh; his children Troy Ashbaugh (Melody) of Louisville and Tonya Norton of Shepherdsville; his mother Margie Ashbaugh of Mount Washington; his sister Janet Lee (Doug) of Shepherdsville; his grandchildren Whitney Draper (Mitchell), Cody Ashbaugh, Stetson Norton and Dakota Ashbaugh; his great grandchildren Braden and Braxton Draper and his little dog Sara; along with many loving family and friends.
Funeral Service will be at 7:00 p.m. Saturday at Maraman Billings Funeral with cremation to follow.
In lieu of flowers; donations to be made to the funeral home for services.
