Robert Elston Walker

Robert Elston Walker, 87 of Shepherdsville, returned to his heavenly father on Tuesday, May 3, 2022.
Robert was a Baptist by faith and a member of Eastside Baptist Church. He was a talker and never met a stranger. He loved making people laugh and always had a joke ready. Robert was a hardworking, Christian man and a devoted father who loved his family. In his spare time, he enjoyed working around the house and on cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Bernice Walker.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years Shirley Buckingham Walker; his children Robert S. Walker, Angie Huffman, and Greg Walker (Gayle); his stepson Steve Walden; his brother Oren Walker; along with 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be at Maraman Billings Funeral Home on Friday from 2-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
