Robert "Bob" Willard Baxter

Robert “Bob” Willard Baxter, 75 passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Norton Audubon Hospital.
Bob was a Baptist by faith. He was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge #266 and was very proud to be a Marine. His passion was trim carpentry and did beautiful work. He was born in Lawrenceburg, KY and moved to Bullitt County in 1971.
He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Lizzy Baxter; his son Robert Bruce Baxter; his siblings Betty Duncan, Billy Baxter, and Linda Montgomery.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Betty Cornish Baxter; his daughter Lisia Baxter Ray (Ernie Tinnell) of Shepherdsville; his siblings Joyce Montgomery, and John Earl Baxter (Francis); his grandchildren Lorrisia Ray, and Draken Ray.
Funeral Service Saturday, December 1, 2018 11:30 a.m. at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Veatch officiating. Entombment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens of Mt. Washington.
Visitation will be on Friday 3-8 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
