Rita Diane Maraman

Rita Diane Maraman 75, of Shepherdsville passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Baptist East Hospital with her family by her side.
Rita was a Baptist by faith, she attended services at Beech Grove Baptist and Clermont Baptist Church. She retired from Four Roses distillery. Her most coveted role was that of a devoted wife and loving mother, she was beyond proud and supportive of her children and grandchildren. She loved hosting family get-togethers, having all her loved ones under one roof, making memories to be cherished for years to come. The legacy of her life and love will never be forgotten.
She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Maraman; her parents George and Molly Tinnell; along with her siblings Geneva Ratchford, Darnell Travis, Sharon Tinnel, Georgia Fay Jackson, Lucille Tinnell, Yvonne Masden, and Sandra Ryan.
Rita is survived by her children Sherry Maraman of Shepherdsville, Timmy (Sandy) Maraman, Yvonne (Shawn) Rummage, and Chrystal (Chad) Engle, all of Lebanon Junction; her brother Sherman Tinnel (Shelia); along with 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, with Bro. Jeff officiating.
Visitation will be Monday, November 6, 2023, from 2-8 p.m. and Tuesday, November 7, 2023, 9:00 a.m. until time of service at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with burial to follow in Vine Hill Cemetery.
