Richard Glynn Shepherd

Richard Glynn Shepherd, 74 of Shepherdsville passed away on Monday December 26, 2016 at University of Louisville Hospital.
He was an Army Veteran and a lifetime member of VFW 5710.
He was preceded in death by his parents Russell and Ellen Gross Shepherd.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra K. Shepherd of Shepherdsville; his children Mary Ellen Maddox (Carlos) of Shepherdsville, Richard Michael Shepherd (Christie) of Leesburg, Georgia; his siblings Robin Shepherd and Laura Gilliam both Delphia, Ky.; his grandchildren Richard Logan Shepherd, Zachary Thomas Shepherd, and Anna Marie Shepherd.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Elbert, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Friday from 10 a.m. till time of service. Family has requested in lieu of flowers memorial contributes to be donated to the VFW 5710.
