Richard Lee Shelton Sr.

Richard Lee Shelton, Sr., 81 of Shepherdsville passed away at Norton Audubon Hospital on Thursday, December 3, 2015.
He was a Baptist by faith. A member of Vine Hill Baptist Church and Woodman of the World. He was a retired employee of John Lee and Sons where he worked as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Maudie Shelton.
Richard is survived by his wife Frances Jean Shelton; his children Richard "Ricky" L. Shelton, Jr., of Shepherdsville, Rose Marie Moore (Ronnie) of Clermont and Lisa Kaye Brown (Kenny) of Shepherdsville; his sister Barbara Webb of Shepherdsville; his grandchildren Cori Petty, Teri Yates and Amy Moore; along with 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Vine Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Crenshaw officiating. Burial will follow at Vine Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2-8 p.m. and on Monday from 9- 11 a.m.
