Richard Lee Freeman, 70 of Shepherdsville passed away on Wednesday April 13, 2011 with his family by his side.
He was a native of Long Beach, CA. He was a member of the Long Beach Democratic Club of CA and a Union Steward of ATU1589. Richard was also a member of Grace Brethren of Long Beach, CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles Elmer and Elva Alberta Freeman; his daughter Judy Freeman; his brothers Jerry and Charles "Chuck" Freeman.
Richard is survived by his wife Elaine Freeman of 25 years; his children Janice Freeman of Shepherdsville; his step-children Liz Casillas (Noel) of CA, Melody Meddles of CA and David Meddles of Shepherdsville; his sisters Myrtle Bush and Geraldine Carrel both of MI; his grandchildren Joseph, Jeanine, David, Kasie, Eddie, Travis and Tiffany; his great-grandchildren Jasmine, Ysabella, AJ, Kash and Kase.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Maraman Billings Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Drew Prince with burial in Highland Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
