Patricia Lee Simmons

Patricia Lee Simmons 66, of Shepherdsville passed away at her home on Thursday, November 24, 2022.
Patricia was outgoing and welcoming. She retired from the hospitality industry; she was a former employee of L&N Golf Course. She was a loving mother and sister; her grandchildren meant the world to her. Patricia had 1 great-grandchild, Madalyn; they shared a birthday and she often said, “Madalyn was her favorite birthday present”. She placed her family above all, the love that they shared will be forever treasured.
She was preceded in death by her parents George & Dorothy Simmons.
She is survived by her children Sandra Slone (Kirby) of Taylorsville, and James Sparks of Shepherdsville; her husband Marty Mohr; siblings Barbara Ray and Ronnie Gene Simmons both of Shepherdsville, and David Simmons of Lebanon Junction; her grandchildren Alex, Jordan, Garrett, Hailey, Donovan, Lindsay, and Destiny; her great-grandchild Madalyn; along with additional family members and friends.
Funeral Service will be held 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday November 29, 2022 at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Veatch officiating.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. till time of service.
