Norman Gene Cawthorn

Norman Gene Cawthorn, 66 of Clermont passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 4, 2022.
Norman was born January 19, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky to Bill and Marian (Hickerson) Cawthorn. Norman was a a faithful member of Vine Hill Baptist Church. He lived a simple life surrounded by his family and friends down at the Holler in Clermont. He loved watching sports, soaking up the sun, and enjoying a cold beer. Norman loved his children and family dearly, and was very proud to be a Cawthorn. He will be remembered for his kindred spirit and zest for life.
Norman was preceded in death by his mother and father Marian and William Cawthorn; his brother Michael Cawthorn, sister Laura Cawthorn, sister Lynne Amburgu, and nephew Billy Cawthorn.
He is survived by his brother Gilbert (Ann) Cawthorn of Clermont, Kentucky and his children Travis Cawthorn of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin and Rachel Cawthorn of Cocoa Beach, Florida. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Check’s Cafe in Louisville, Kentucky from 3-7pm. The celebration will be upstairs, and food and drinks will be provided.
