Nora Doris Jones 93 of Sparta, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Monday December 22, 2014 at Life Care Center of Sparta.
She was a native of Clinton, Kentucky, a member of the Baptist Church and a member of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husbands James Arden Billings and Ralph Jones, her parents Claude and Anetta (Eastep) Lock and her siblings Zelma Long, Mildred Williams, Leo Lock and Elmo Lock.
She is survived by her daughter and husband Karen and Gerald Cantrell of Sparta, her grand daughters and their husbands Michelle and Tony Green and Kimberly and Matthew Adkison all of Sparta, her great grandchildren Cambrie Green, Katie and Karlee Wilhite and Alyssa Adkison, her siblings Claudette Wallace (Vernon) of Boaz, KY, Shirley Frizzell of Warren, MI, Muriel Lock (Brenda)of Clinton, KY, many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday December 28, 2014 at Oaklawn Funeral Home 1786 Smithville Hwy, Sparta with Rev. Paul Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 5 – 8 pm at the funeral home.
