Mildred Jacquelyn "Jackie" Farner

Mildred Jacquelyn “Jackie” Farner 83, of Shepherdsville passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021 at home with her family by her side.
Jackie was Methodist by faith. She was a member of Davidson Memorial United Methodist Church in Shepherdsville since 1974. She sang in the church choir. She was a graduate of Highpoint College in Highpoint, NC. She was the owner and operator of Brownsboro Book Center in Louisville.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents Dorothy and Darrell Mitchell of Morganton, NC.
Jackie is survived by her husband of 62 years William “Bill” Farner of Shepherdsville; her sons William Michael Farner (Jeannie) of Shepherdsville and Phillip Alan Farner (Lynne) of Louisville; her grandchildren Sara Kathleen Farner of Mt. Washington and Kelly Rebecca Farner of West Bloomfield, MI.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Maraman Billings Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Beverly Maguffee. Entombment will follow in Hebron Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 2-6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. until the time of service.
