Mildred Shields Eddington

Mildred Shields Eddington, 93 of Shepherdsville passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at her home with her family by her side.
She was a native of Bloomfield Ky, a Baptist by faith and a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church. She was a birth statistician for 25 years at Methodist Evangelical Hospital and served 12 years as Republican Member of Bullitt County Board of Elections.
She was preceded in death by her late husband of 72 years Kenneth Eddington; her parents Ernest and Mary Shields and siblings Martha Coulter Shields, Edith Marie Shields and Joann Shields Heick.
Mildred is survived by her children Martha Lynn Eddington, Kenneth Wayne Eddington (Lynn) and Reggie Eddington (Bridgett) all of Shepherdsville; along with 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with Rev. Stanley Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2-8 p.m. and from 9 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
