He was preceded in death by his father Colonel Cecil Haburne.
He is survived by his son Michael Joseph Haburne; his parents Donnette and Donnie Shoptaw of Shepherdsville; his siblings Joseph Todd Haburne of Shepherdsville, Tamara Hawks (John) of Louisville and Danielle Graham of Mt. Washington.
The family has chosen cremation with a memorial service to take place at a later date.
