Marylou "Beth" Douglas

Marylou “Beth” Douglas, 32 of Shepherdsville, passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
She was a Christian by faith and a member of Holy Chapel in Shepherdsville. Beth was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was devoted to her family, most of all to her three boys. She enjoyed arts and crafts, photography and designing t-shirts. She loved singing and was an outgoing person that was always talking and asking questions.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Bill Akridge and Elisie Osborne.
Beth is survived by her husband Derrick Douglas; her parents Gerald Akridge and Teresa Jeffries; her stepfather Gary Gerwitz; her sons Caleb, Jaxson and Kamdyn Douglas; her siblings Richard Bewley (Jessie), Cassandra Pierce (Kyle), Angel Akridge, Amber Akridge and Elisha Strickland; her grandparents Betty and Jerry Jeffries Sr.; her aunts and uncles Tammy and Jerry Logsdon, Jerry and Robin Jeffries, Billy Akridge, Robert and Michelle Akridge, and Kathy and Luke Clark; along with many cousins and friends that will miss her dearly.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 31, 2021, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with Dave Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 29th from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Thursday December 30th from Noon – 8:00 p.m., and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
