Mary Elizabeth Brooks, 74 of Louisville, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Rockford Healthcare at Signature after a lengthy battle with an illness.
Mary was a Baptist by faith and a member of Lincoln Memorial Missionary Baptist Church in Hodgenville. She was an Eastern Star. Mary was an animal lover, goats and dogs were her favorite, and she loved working on the farm. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them.
She is preceded in death by her parents Aberleen and Mary Brown; her sister Pam Cook and her brother Robert Brown.
Mary is survived by her sister Martha Sanders; her nephew David Eugene Smith; her nieces Sandra Puckett, Julie Catron, Tuwana Rheaume and Abigale Decker.
A graveside burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday December 9, 2021, at Lincoln Memorial Missionary Baptist Church in Hodgenville, Kentucky.
