Mary Jane Armstrong

Mary Jane Armstrong, 84 of Shepherdsville, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Baptist East Hospital.
She was a Baptist by faith. A good caregiver, she was always willing to help anyone in need. She loved music and eating out; always making sure everyone was fed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Lucille Gieske.
Mary Jane is survived by her children, Sharlene Lawrence (Bill), Jeff Armstrong (LouAnne), Lisa Terry (Kevin), and Karla Owens; her siblings, Margaret Mayfield and Carl Gieske; along with six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Maraman Billings Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the ladies at Lyndon Woods and the nurses at Baptist East Palliative Care for the love and care they showed Mary Jane in her time of need.
