Marshall O. "Punchie" Coomes

Marshall O. "Punchie" Coomes 58 of Lebanon Junction passed away on Monday November 18, 2013 at his home with his family by his side.
He was a native of Bullitt County and a retired employee of General Shale.
He was preceded in death by his parents Douglas and Helen Greenwell Coomes and a step son Mark Yankey.
He is survived by his wife Dolly Coomes of Lebanon Junction, his children Tammy (Robbie) Johnson, Bandy (Michelle) Coomes and Marshal Dwane Coomes all of Shepherdsville, his step sons Morris (Lisa) Whiteside, William (Sally) Whiteside and Anthony Parsley all of Shepherdsville, his siblings James and Lonnie Greenwell, Ronald Coomes all of Shepherdsville, Donald Coomes of Elizabethtown and Gary Coomes of Clarkson, 7 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild, 11 Step Grandchildren, 7 Step Great Grandchildren and his best friend Wayne Parsley.
Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with Bro. George Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
