Lynda Thomas-Shell, born January 10, 1953, of Shepherdsville, KY, returned to her Heavenly Father on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Norton Audubon Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Betty and Marvin Thomas; daughter, Kelly Shell-Leachman; and her younger brother, John Thomas.
She is survived by and leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 47 years, Lonnie Shell; brother, David Thomas (Patty); beloved grandson, Julian Leachman; son-in-law, Eddie Leachman; her niece Jenna Thomas; as well as several other nieces, nephews and additional family members. Lynda was a former nurse and treasured by friends and family. She always had a ready smile and open heart. Lynda was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 on Thursday, January 20, 2022 conducted at Victory Baptist Church, with burial to follow in Brookland Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Victory Baptist Church 11:30 a.m. until time of service.
