Leo “Lee” Francis Bischoff Jr., 70 of Shepherdsville passed away on Thursday May 26, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.
Leo was a Catholic by faith, and a member of Saint Aloysius Catholic Church. He worked as a heavy equipment owner/operator in the family construction business NLB, Inc. Leo loved family trips to Lake Cumberland, and spending time on the boat together. He enjoyed restoring and driving tractors. He liked to hunt and fish. He was a doting dad of 3 girls, and certainly paid his dues in a house full of ladies. Leo placed family above all, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was proud of his girls and grandchildren, and cherished every moment shared.
He is preceded in death by his parents Leo “Boots” F. Bischoff Sr. and Mary Louise “Sis” Bischoff; and granddaughter Colette Taylor.
Leo is survived by his wife Mary Sandra “Sandy” Bischoff; daughters Heather L. Johnson (Adam), Mary “Cheyenne” Taylor (Cameron), and Sandra “Regina” Bishop (Brandon); siblings Marilyn Bott and Carl Bischoff (Evelyn); grandchildren Onnika, Caden, Macy and Gracy, and Carson; along with nieces and nephews, additional family members and friends
Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Saint Aloysius Catholic Church with Fr. Terry Langford officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Maraman Billings Funeral Home on Tuesday May 31, 2022 from 3 :00 -8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, June 1, 2022 2:00-8:00 p.m. and Thursday 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in Leo’s name to Saint Aloysius Catholic Church for Masses. A celebration of life to follow the burial at
