Larry Edward Gene Tiller

 Larry Edward Gene Tiller, 70, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center. 

 He worked more than 20 years as a Blaster for Fiba Tech Sandblasting. Larry was a man with many interests and talents; he was an avid hunter and fisherman; he was skilled at blasting as well as being musically gifted. Larry had a band called the Lobo Band; they played music of all genres. He was a self-taught guitarist; he practiced the harmonica and other instruments. Music was a big part of his life, and he enjoyed sharing his gift with others. A true entertainer, Larry loved hosting, he had a guest list of 100 plus people invited over each Christmas. Larry came from a large family, he had 9 brothers and sisters, he cherished time spent with family. He had a soft spot for the grandkids, he kept a stock of Tootsie Roll Pops ready to share with the kiddos. He will be dearly missed by many. 

 He was preceded in death by his parents Dewey Marshall Tiller and Fredia Pierce Tiller; brother Gerald “Jr.” Tiller and granddaughter Kylie Jo. 

 Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Amber Tiller (Les Corbin) of Shepherdsville, Christian Tiller and Holly Coover both of Louisville; siblings Lynn McNatt (Duane), Gary Tiller, Terry Tiller (Pam), Lonnie Tiller, Mike Tiller (Becky), Timmy Tiller (Stacey), Robin Isaac (Ron) and Doug Tiller; grandchildren Nevaeh, Tyler (Jessica), Isaac, Kristopher (Sarah) and Daniel; great-grandchildren Adalee and Brady; his girlfriend Jeannie; along with many nieces & nephews, additional family and friends. 

 Funeral Service will take place at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, Maraman Billings Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Veatch Officiating. 

 Visitation will be Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from noon until time of service.
