Larry "The Kid" Southard 66 of Elizabethtown passed away at Hardin Memorial Hospital on June 4, 2012.
Larry enjoyed being a DJ and was well know in the Louisville area.
He was preceded in death by his son Brian Towne and his siblings June Summers, Homer Southard, Richard Southard and Donnie Southard.
He is survived by his life partner of 21 years Missy Baugh of Elizabethtown; his children Rhonda (Billy) Southard of Meade County, Wendy (Reggie) Quintana of California, Jessie Lopez of Louisville, Mike (Tina) Pratt of Louisville, Christine Boles of Indiana, Tommy Southard of Elizabethtown, Casey Southard and Shylayna Southard both of Elizabethtown; his siblings Jim Southard of California, Phillip Southard of Tennessee, Ronald (Linda) Southard of California, Gary (Jan) Southard of Louisville, Douglas Southard of Pennsylvania, Russell Gail of Michigan, Nancy Thompson of Florida and Frances of Michigan; along with 20 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday June 8, 2012 at 7 :00 p.m. at Maraman Billings Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Friday 5-7 p.m.
