Larry Duane Greenwell

Larry Duane Greenwell, 89 of Shepherdsville, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, February 14, 2023.
Larry was a farmer by trade and an outdoorsman by heart. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and anything that got his hand dirty. He was a jack of all trades and the king of “making-do,” he could literal fix anything. He was a loving father and grandfather. He was a craftsman at woodworking and loved building things for his family and the people he cared about.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 68 years, Berniece “Pig” Greenwell; his son, Noland “Binky” Greenwell; his parents, Ralph and Lillian Greenwell; his sister, Barbara Clark.
Larry is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Catalano, and her husband Joseph; his daughter-in-law Darlene Greenwell; his grandchildren, Jeremy Greenwell (Lori Knauer), and Chad Greenwell (Leann French); his great-grandchildren, Allie Mudd (Michael), Alex Knauer and MacKenzie Knauer; his great-great granddaughter Harper Mudd; along with numerous nieces and nephews, additional family members and friends.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with burial to follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 3-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
