Larry J. Felgar

Larry J. Felgar, 78 of Shepherdsville passed away Friday, June 14, 2019 at Signature South of Louisville.
He was a Jehovah Witness by faith and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Shepherdsville. He was a retired Optician. He held a PHD and worked as a Doctors assistant for many years. While at the University of Southern Ohio he was the department Chairman and taught the Optician curriculum. He had written Dr. Visors training for Opticians and was well known for his work in continuing education in Kentucky and Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents Murray and Pearl Felgar.
Larry is survived by his loving wife Linda Felgar; his children Larry Mark Felgar of Newport, KY, Michael Kirk Felgar of Shepherdsville and Amber Jael Felgar of Delmar, FL; his siblings Judy Romero and Cheryl Felgar both of California; his grandchildren Scott, Kristina, Christina, Kristen and Kayden Felgar; along with his great grandchildren Nevah, Katlyn and Riley.
Memorial Service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 205 Charles Hamilton Way Shepherdsville, KY. With Bro. Thomas Smith of Vine Grove Officiating.
