Katherine Loretta Wimsatt, 79 of Shively, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, February 4, 2021.
Katherine was a Lutheran by faith and a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. She worked at Mother’s Cookies for over 20 years. She was loved and will be missed by her many friends in Cardinal Oaks.
She was preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Vivian Ott and her son Michael Wayne Wimsatt.
Katherine is survived by her daughter Denise Cross and her husband Bill of Georgetown, KY; her grandson Nickolas Cross of Louisville; her sister Norma Ott of Louisville and her brother Philip Ott and his wife Tammy of Shepherdsville.
Respecting Katherine’s wishes, the family will be holding a private burial at Louisville Memorial Garden’s West.
