Justin Lee Maynard, 31 of Louisville passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at his home.
Justin was free spirited, his smile and enthusiasm for life was contagious. He held a variety of jobs ranging from general laborer to cameo appearances in music videos. He liked to engineer and build things, take things apart, learn how it worked, repair and rebuild. Justin loved shredding the streets and skate parks with his best friends and favorite board. He spoke a universal language; he was good at mixing with different groups of people and bringing everyone together. He brought high energy, was entertaining and good-humored, he made everyone smile. Justin was devoted to his friends, complimentary and loyal. He is truly unforgettable, in a class all his own.
Justin is preceded in death by his father Michael “Mike” Maynard; grandfathers Gerald Underwood and Willis Lee Maynard.
Justin is survived by his mother Tonna Miller and her husband Edward of Fairdale; sister Carman Corder and her husband Donnie of Hillview; grandmothers Wilma Underwood and Ursula Martha Maynard; uncles Willis L. Maynard, Jr. (Tracy), and Brandon Michael Maynard (Joshua); aunts Elizabeth Lee Soares (Joseph) and Jackie Kinkle; nephew Joshua Corder; cousin Chris Maynard (Tiffany); his dear friend Samantha Franklin along with additional family members and countless friends.
The family has entrusted Maraman Billings Funeral Home with cremation services. Justin’s family would like to invite everyone to honor and celebrate his life on Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. at Derby City Pizza -Fairdale location 10619 West Manslick Road Louisville, KY 40118.
