Joyce Marie Tomes, 54 of Shepherdsville passed away at the Hosparus Inpatient Unit in Louisville after an illness.
She was a native of Jefferson County, a member of Evangel World Prayer Center and a retired employee of the Federal Government where she held several positions.
She is survived by her husband Kelvin L. “Ron” Tomes of Shepherdsville, her children Jeffrey and Amanda Tomes, her siblings Emma Kline of Battletown, Reba Blackwell and Darlene Tamsa both of Brandenburg.
A Memorial Reflection will take place at Maraman Billings Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2011.
