Joyce Irene Hill, 81 of Louisville passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Norton Audubon Hospital.
She was a Lutheran by faith. Joyce retired at the age of 80, from Metro Corrections where she worked as an LPN. She was a caregiver by trade, she placed the needs of others above her own. She kept her mind sharp working on seek and find puzzles. She was fond of trips to the casino and tempting lady luck for the jackpot. Joyce loved spending time with her grandchildren, they enjoyed watching animated movies together. She was hardworking, compassionate, supportive, and encouraging; an all-around amazing woman, mother and grandmother that will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Nora Jean Hill, parents John and Joyce Woidtke, brother Terry Woidtke, and her great-great grandchild Cole River Carter.
Joyce is survived by her daughter Lora Kile of Hillview; siblings Janice McCoy (Gary) of Fairdale and JoAnne Barnicoat (Joe) of Madison, OH; granddaughter Dawnita Cambron (Lee), great-grandchildren Jasmine Jasgarszewski (Cole Carter), and Noah Jasgarszewski; her great-great grandchild Nicholas Ryder Carter; along with many additional family members and friends.
Funeral Service will be 12:30 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2024, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home with Noah Jasgarszewski officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitations will be Friday 9 a.m. until time of service.
