Joyce Gayle Hall Cotton, 74 of Shepherdsville passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016 at her home peacefully in her sleep.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Darwin Cotton; her parents Charles and Susie Cundiff and her brother Ronnie Cundiff.
She was a graduate of Shepherdsville High School class of 1959 and earned her Masters Degree at the University of Louisville. She was a retired Bullitt County School Teacher where she taught for Shepherdsville Middle, North Bullitt High School and Bullitt Central High School. She was a member of Bullitt County Arts Council, Bullitt County Retired Teachers and a Baptist by faith. She had a great love for her community and family.
Joyce is survived by her daughter Karla Hall (Michele) of Shepherdsville; her brother Jerry Cundiff of Texas; along with her pets Zoey and Jack Black and grand dogs Molly and Timber.
The family has chosen cremation with a memorial service to take place at a later date.
