Joseph "Joe" Ewing Thornton, 74 of Louisville passed away at Meadow View Health & Rehab on Saturday July 12, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his parents Everett and Dorothy Thornton and his brother Henry Thornton.
Joe is survived by his children Janet Hayes (Jerry) of Louisville, Jeff Thornton (Tracy) of Louisville and James Thornton (Jennifer) of Taylorsville; his siblings Sharon Collins of Tennessee and Phil Thornton of La Grange KY; along with 7 grandchildren and 5 grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Maraman Billings Funeral Home.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m.
